Crane Creative was founded in 2009 by me - Tom Crane whilst I balanced full-time employment as an Artwork Manager with the life of a freelancer. After spending numerous years cultivating my skill set as a digital and print designer I went solo with Crane Creative officially in 2013 after returning from a year working as a Bungy Jump photographer (and resident designer) in Queenstown, New Zealand. 

I specialise in providing high-quality digital and print design to varied business sectors and as an avid petrolhead, I have a particular interest in the automotive industry. 

When I'm not thrashing out design projects in the office I'm often thrashing engines around race tracks. My hobbies include off-road endurance motorcycle racing, cars, and just about anything that runs on fuel!  I've also more recently started to enjoy a slightly slower-paced sport in Golf and of course, tinkering with motorcycles in the garage where I like to build my custom bikes (see my 1979 Honda CB750 Cafe Racer below!)

 

 

Although brand marketing support is at my core, the company has evolved to encompass a broad spectrum of creative skill sets and services. Graphic Design, Website Design, Digital and Lithographic Print Management, Photography, Supply of branded Promotional Items, Printed Garments, Signage and Video Production are but a few of the additional services I often provide clients.

Over the years Crane Creative has seamlessly moved towards being a full-time website design business too. With a background in design, I made the decision to leave the development to the pros and since starting out I've now taken on David & Jon, my two web development experts!
